A smile never seen,
A coo never heard,
Small hands that couldn't grasp,
Left an ache in our hearts left uncured.
Beautiful boy, so small,
Too precious for earth,
Too wonderful for all.
One day we hope to hold you again,
With wings on your back,
And warmth in our hearts.
We count the seconds we are apart.
