Love Surrender

Ayabulela

In love, I surrender

The night is now so silent

My mind became my service render

Blind, I am, I vent

I'll never be perfect

I tried the best

I failed my act

My version in the mirror is the worst

I believe love will bring us back

But is it true?

The road seems so dark

I can't see the way through

Why did I leave

Love, us, will heave

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote it because I was quitting love. There were things I did wrong which made me lose hope in love. I am blaming myself for this one because I loved someone who do not appreciate me and left someone who does.

The message is so heavy and you can truly feel your emotions in your words. Heartache is one of the most beautifully tormenting muses. Much love 💜
