Only You

Tayama

Who would have thought I would have dirt on my knees?

Seems I'm spending more time pleading...

Your shame for me I see in your eyes has become irrelevant...

For I can't...

Lose you again...

The dark spot I saw when you first left...

Took my breath...

I never knew I could not breathe without you...

But neither did I believe I could ever beg...

If I don't, I will be dead...

As a child abused, I knew no pain would ever compare...

But to be alone, not to smell your hair, I cannot bare...

I've survived because I knew love was waiting...

You're that love, please take me...

As you did when you found me...

There is no life but for you...

Only you I can love...love me again like you do?

Look down please and touch my hair softly...

For if you walk away, this will be my moment as my life fades to gray...

In the darkness of you gone, and all that pain...

That only you...can take away.
