Flow

eckardcb

Drink in the day—
Pull in a long, savory sip
And hold it
There

Marvel at
The taste,
The flavors,
The bubbly feel

Pour today
Through a funnel,
And trust

That the slow dripping
Will still.

Get you there

Distill out the hurry—
Let it leave you. Unhindered
By additives
Fresh, not fermented
By clocks and calendars

Instead of
Gulping (tick tock)
Chugging (tick tock)
Choking—

Drink in the day,
Just as it
Flows
