Trusting Love’s Journey

chris frank

She could stare forever into her own heart,

Never seeing, never hearing the call it made.
Her eyes were closed, shut to happiness

Her soul trapped long in a fateful past

Our love he told her is there forever

Her first best destiny was life with him.
But all through time her past called her backwards

Away from happiness, away from love

No more tears, no longer alone

Take my hand he cried, the time is now

Her heart was open, her guilt and fear a storm wind

His arms a home in which she could live

The final leap is small, your heart has made it

Already in love, now let’s be a family too

Standing tall your heart it sparkles

Your life, your destiny is born anew.

Epilogue

A beach, the sun, a sparkling vision

A girl, her mother, with him her love

They sit and watch the future blossom

No more stress, just a happy home.
