To Blame

blinding.shadows

We drifted. Apart
I just voiced my feelings and yet here were are
blood strangers
ghosted under one roof
I can't look at you since the sight of me is unbearable
the deafening silence
the restrained greetings
and who's to blame
you?
me?
neither?
blood is thicker than water
no wonder our blood is clotted
so I sit and and wait
till my vessels burst
and I drown in the blood that was meant to bind us in the first place
