Canon's Tune

Insanely Hilarious

The canon was playing,
And you looked so fine.
Your grey eyes excited,
You held a glass of wine.

The canon was playing,
When you made me smile.
You put your hand forward,
And I took it in mine.

Leading you in a waltz,
Dancing through the night.
Making your eyes shine,
It just felt so right.

Loving you was my choice,
Others were just background voice.
Darling, I loved your voice,
You were the warmth amidst the ice.

My hands on your shoulder,
And yours on my waist.
You were a great dancer,
I loved watching our hands interlace.

The canon was playing,
When you danced with me.
Forgetting the world,
Somehow, it was just you and me.

The canon was playing,
When your eyes stared into mine.
You told me you loved me and I replied,
"Be my fiction, sweetheart, be my fantasy."
