Do you believe other's views?
Do you believe what's on the news?
Do you believe what you were taught in school?
Do you believe the words of a fool?
Do you believe in a guaranty?
Do you believe what you can see?
Do you believe what you have read?
Do you believe what your father said?
Do you believe your government?
Do you believe in its good intent?
Do you believe what you feel?
Do you believe that it is real?
Do you believe what you have heard?
Do you believe what they say is God's word?
Whatever it is, that you do believe
Do others, or your mind, you deceive?

Good questions! Makes you hunker down and consider what matters.
Thank you Crypticbard for the review and comment
Excellent questions! I have come to feel, at my late age, that belief is a very powerful word. Be it for good or bad, it has a rigidity to it that sometimes disturbs me. So I now prefer to use the word "think", because every day is a learning experience. Love that you have posed this quandary, that I may now think up on it. Great write my friend.
Thank you, Bella, On top of fake news, it became evident that there is little that one can be sure of yet we are given information as if it were a proven fact.
Funnily enough, soren prior to my arrival here I had used the word 'believe' in relationship to another piece posted today and then rejected in preference for certainty.
And therein lies the difference: Belief is a perception without real evidence to verify any of the social constructs you list.
Could almost be developed into a mantra. Well said.
