A UNITED NIGERIA by Aras-Rita Andrawus Stephen

Dear my dearest mother country,
My gratitude and greetings go to you,
I am grateful for forming me and shapening me
From nothing to something,
You are my mother, my pride;
I am so proud of you my dearest mummy.

Good afternoon Nigeria,
I am saddened and darkened by your
Ugly colour.
You were so beautiful but sickness arrived
From the palace of the devil and dismantled you.
You are sick; I am sad, when will you be set
Free from this bondage?

I see you in fire as division arrives from
an unknown land.
Please my brothers and sisters,
The biological kids of Nigeria,
Let's embrace unity and
Throw away division into the deepest part
of the ocean.
We all know that unity is strength,
We need unity to grow and succeed in life,
Infact, unity is the cornerstone of life.

Soldiers and security men, I call on you to
Come out and end divided Nigeria,
We no longer love
Division and subtraction
But we love
Addition and multiplication.
We are fed up with divided Nigeria,
Children of the same parents
Fight and kill each other,
Peace has run away and left us
With confusion and disorder.

We need change,
Day and night we pray for a
United Nigeria,
A united Nigeria where all are treated
Equally and respectively,
A united Nigeria where all citizens speak one language,
A united Nigeria where all is well and normal,
A united Nigeria where things are growing taller and taller,
A united Nigeria where leaders are performing their duties
Seriously and wholeheartedly,
A united Nigeria where peace rules,
A united Nigeria where farmers and herders
Are brothers and friends,
A united Nigeria where things are moving
As it is needed and required,
A united Nigeria where children are always happy,
A united Nigeria where lives and properties are protected,
A united Nigeria where marketers and
Traders are feeling good,
A united Nigeria which other Nations
Will copy because of her charming
Characters and features.

Youths, the pillars of Nigeria,
Stand up and support
The incoming bride of the world,
The miss world,
Her name is nobody but,
"A united Nigeria."
