Dreams and Beyond

Alishba Anhar

Beyond the ninth clouds,
there I am, carefree, happy, luxuriating.
No one can deject me.

I soar above the skies,
from Mercury to Neptune,
from Sun to Moon,
from one galaxy to the other-
Dreams and eternal love.

My fears and phobias,
my forever pains,
have all been incarcerated,
turned into new dreams and aspirations.

I can see all the horizons,
and all the meteorites,
the luminaries and stars that light up the skies.

The light that shines,
from the heavens and through the starry skies.

Who's going to pull me down?
Who's going to stop me?

My dreams have levitated me too high,
too far to back down.

I will go dreams and beyond.

I will achieve and inspire,
'cause that's the light behind life.

When I read your poem it reminds me of how I feel when I meditate, a new self healing power, Its like I am in the galaxy. A power that no one can ever take away from you.
