Violets in snow, daffodils glow!
A place, where sweet time is ever so slow.
Raspberry roses, delicious to eat;
lush green grasses warm little feet.
Chocolate tulips, as seen from a far,
peppermint posies touched by a star.
Garden so open, no gates to lock,
with music so sweet, no hours to clock.
Flower and friend come here and dream.
This garden is all that it seems.
A fox plays flute in his den,
accompanied on piano by Hannah the Hen.
Chipmunks juggle plates on their knees,
with smiles overflowing with glee.
Cats, who never lack tunes,
play fiddle in June.
Raccoons are dressed in green ribbons and bows.
Beavers dance in dens near a river that flows.
Violets in snow, daffodils glow!
A place, where sweet time is ever so slow.
Squirrels, dressed in tuxedos, serve lunch,
where lilacs of love grow all in a bunch.
Bunnies to touch, kittens to kiss, puppies that never grow old.
A pond with a walrus who smiles and beguiles with actions so bold.
Ponies who dance with a mule who sings.
And horses and donkeys who gallop with wings.
A pig in a wig,
do butterflies greet, who are so big,
they can’t see their feet.
But fly ‘round’ all children they meet.
Alas, the garden’s never quite done.
Adding more friends is half the fun.
Flowers and friends, come and meet.
This garden’s so peaceful and sweet.
