MY MEAN MOTHER by Ajibade Olanrewaju Akinpelumi
My mother-The giant of Africa
A distinguish country among africa
Giving birth is all her wish
So as to be independent
From the pain and groans
She's passing through
Sonambulating, she is always
On this issue while asleep
Keenly, she got her freedom
At unexpected, expected era
From freedom to bondage
And pain to mourning
Freedom in a twinkle of an eye
But bondage for everlasting
Fool at forty, is a fool they all say
What about fool at sixty-two?
A fool enjoying, while children in pain
She teaches honesty
But she is the mother of corruption
The beginning which has no end.
