My God-dess of Nature by Tayler Walters

Tayler Walters

As Poseidon ordered the sea to raise and fall,

Hera blew the air to answer his calls.

My God-dess of Nature built a world where I don’t fear the skies or the sea. But fear the people who aren’t able to see the beauty … that has been carefully crafted for you and me.

The flight of a red kite and the busyness of the bees has me in awe, as they soar high and I sigh because…. I want to be so high in the sky that I can see miles and miles of land and sand. I want to hear my wings cut through the air without a care in the world.

My God-dess of Nature has created a sphere….do you hear?

If only we could fly away, especially on a Monday when people want to talk to you, and you can't remember where the weekend went.
