Set Up To Lose But Born To Win

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

We all born in this crazy backwards place
Dying to live
It's a fucking disgrace
Set up to lose but born to win
I think about life as I sip my gin
Don't quit
Stand up and get to it
But don't be eager to work for those
Who's only care is profit
Pound signs in their eyes
Their greed takes over
Worker bees they despise
Talk to you like shit and feed you lies
Where is the justice in this world?
What happened to the union guys?
Everyone on strike
This country far from alright
Medieval England
Without the knights and round table
Reality is wrong
This is no fable

A few issues there you list. A few I'm acquainted with.
    Solutions to any of them?

The government mate and greedy people, this country is in dire need for radical change but not sure if it'll ever happen in my lifetime. In my last place they used to have apprentices making all the drinks, so backwards. Most management don't wanna motivate, it's all about putting people down.

You have to unionize, man.....Sometime in the distant future even that organisation could become ossified, but that possibly will be beyond your working life, particularly if you retain a clear picture of where you want to go and remain active.

I understand what you saying but even the unions don't seem to care. I know someone who was in a union paying money every month and didn't use their services then when they needed a union rep to be in a meeting with them they didn't even turn up lol.
