The monster under the bed.

H.M

A wise man once said.

What we don't know is what we dread.

For when I was a kid to be afraid is all I did.

 When daylight is far ahead.

 Nighttime is ready to spread.

In my room I was, running to my bed.

But safety was all in my head.

"Don't fear me little girl"is what he said.

 "Be kind to me instead".

"Whereas in a long time from now you will be my friend".

His voice echoed in my head as I asked in the end.

"Who will you be other than my friend?".

Silence fills the room until he said.

" I am the monster under the bed".
