Only For Me

J.H.Byron-Nuel

I see that you have gone but your words and face haunt my memories still.

I keep your picture in my room.
To see your face hurts a little less each day.
All that I would love to say I say each night to the walls of this lonely home echoing the screams inside my head.
My heart lets more of you go each day.
Someday the place you had inside will be filled again.
Until then all that I would love to say goes unheard.
A sacred place I kept you, but now I must let you go, only for me.
