Cotton Pickin ' Fluffy Fields

PoetVids - I am WriteBeLight only in Video Version :)

I thought that you would like to see,

The unusual sights that surround me.

Today I drove by some cotton fields,

Look how fluffy these plants do yield.

But once these pillows are packed and picked,

They are formed into these huge, white bricks.

And, after the picking has completed,

The ground below looks quite depleted.

The cotton will be shipped to wherever, who knows?

To be woven into beautiful cloths and clothes.
