Leading Up to the HSC

Lord Montgomery

Writing out practices on soft cream paper

Sending them as drafts and looking back later

I know exactly when it will happen

But no idea what to expect

I'm sure that when I get there I will be ready

My hand after 2 hours however not so steady

This dosent determine your life they say

But fail and have the ultimate price to pay

  • Comment from author about the poem: Hello all, its been a while and will probably be a while till the next poem. I am currently sitting my HSC exams which is the Australian equivalent of a final school examination to which you receive a university entrance mark. As a result, I am focusing pretty much most of my energy on that. I have already completed English and Japanese and Have Ancient History, Business Studies, Geography and Extension History to go! I can't wait till these finishes, and I can enjoy the Summer and Christmas period! Thank you all for your understanding.
