India - A land of unity in diversity 🇮🇳

While going through the pages of history, 
someone found this word 'India'. 
And asked me, "What is India?" 

I took a pause of couple of seconds
and said: 

"A multi-cultural and multi-religious society, 
India is the melting pot of various races through the ages. 

Different cultures like the Pre-Aryans, Indo-Aryans and Greeks mingled with one another through the ages here in India. 

The birthplace of Buddha and Mahavira is India. 

Even the natural forces like the sun, moon, earth, fire, wind, river and thunder are worshipped here in India. 

Not only this, female figures like Saraswati, the Indian God of Education and Music; 
Laxmi, the Indian God of Wealth and Prosperity and 
Devi Durga, the Indian God of Strength and Power are worshipped here in India." 

Then that person asked me : 

"In a country like India where people practicing different religion live together, communal riots are happening; 

In a country like India where people worship the natural forces, pollution is there; 

In a country like India where female figures are worshipped, crimes against women are happening... how is this possible? 

Did India lost its glory?" 

With tears in my eyes, I said : 

"Actually it's high time that we Indians come together to bring back the glory of our motherland, Bharatvarsha. 

India is not just a country on the world map, 
It's a history in itself. 

The real strength of India lies in the unity and integrity of the nation. 

India will shine again." 

While going through the pages of history, 
someone found this word, India.
