The Arctic longs for Antarctica
Much like I long for you
Separated by the whole earth
Gravitational pulls bring a habitual world
Much like the attraction ill unearth
That makes my World
Easier to live in
The Arctic
A hostile world
Where animals fight to eat
Much like my mind
Thought that are hard to beat
In stark contrast to Antarctica
Who bears fruit to many plants
And animals
Living in perfect enchants
You bring harmony to my life
Much like the two poles bring to each other
My attraction to you strifes
Through the distance
I know ill love you
In every Instance

- Comment from author about the poem: Personally, this is about how I feel about dealing with my long distance relationship as someone who has attachment style anxiety. Most of my poems and whatnot will be about how I feel with attachment style anxiety and my relationships with others while living across the world from home. This poem, however, can be interpreted however the reader chooses, or however they resonate with it. This is also my first ever poem, I hope you all like it and let me know what I can do better next time (:
