Sitting In The Car

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Sitting in the car
People pass
A boy in skinny jeans
Argues with a woman pushing a pram
I notice all as my eyes scan
A lad wearing a witches hat
A girl who's fat
An old lady with a crutch and mask on in fresh air
Don't even know what's happening there
Got my sunglasses on
But don't see no Sun
It's gone
Hiding behind a cloud
I wonder which one
A dull and cold day
But at least it's not wet
Well not yet

A day is a day and it moves on, I got a spare set of sunnies for just an occasion as this!

Haha nice, have you watched They Live yet?

      • arqios

They Live: mixing that with MIB and Tony Stark's specs and I've got the perfect set of glasses!

Haha nice, sounds like a good set.
