Invisible Clocks

A Boy With Roses

You're in the kitchen making chocolate cake

And talking about UFOs

But you don't know how much I'm suffering

Everyday I smoke and drink just so I can feel something

Just to alleviate the pain, but it always comes back

And the doctor says I'm depressed

And when I try to open up to you, you never listen

You never want to have a conversation

You leave the house just to go missing

And blame everyone for your bad decisions

And it feels like I'm talking to invisible clocks

Filling bathtubs to watch them overflow.

'You leave the house just to go missing'
(while some go missing, standing right by our side...)
such a vivid scene your words emote
    thanks for sharing dear poet
