She thought the definition of friends was uplifting
But from her circumstances, she never had one like that
She always thought it was normal
Never thinking it was abnormal
A young child would never have known
The hole it would create
By not leaving early on
caused her to deteriorate
Looking back she would never have thought
How Depressing a life like that would be
Waking up every day to please
Waking up every day to get used like a disease
But the only day waking up was with ease
Was the day she realized
And the day she allowed
Her worth stepping in
But from her circumstances, she never had one like that
She always thought it was normal
Never thinking it was abnormal
A young child would never have known
The hole it would create
By not leaving early on
caused her to deteriorate
Looking back she would never have thought
How Depressing a life like that would be
Waking up every day to please
Waking up every day to get used like a disease
But the only day waking up was with ease
Was the day she realized
And the day she allowed
Her worth stepping in
