We met when my life was blue

In January of 1992

He gave something true

To smile through and through

 

The love I have for him is real

As my heart says it is the real deal

I wish I could seal

This longing love zeal

 

My question is why this guy

Makes me want to cry

And I can't seem to say goodbye

No matter how hard I try

 

What does the future bring

As I don't understand this thing

That makes my heart sing

Like the feeling of spring

 

Hurry, hurry tell me if the love I feel is real

I feel like a third wheel

In this whole true love deal
