A Heart is Not Just a Shape

Sahana Kaur

Watching the stars in the night sky supine,
tears of laughter under the moonshine.

From enemies to friends to lovers;
this journey of me with you was like I found a four leafed clover.

An ineffable land where there's only you and me,
Where ever we go we're wild and free.

Tied with a red and grey ribbon of satin;
Living life peacefully with you is all I imagine.

A beautiful world of love now I cannot escape,
With you I realised a heart is not just a shape.
