Why get angry?

I used to get angry when things bothered me

Getting mad made them worse I've now come to see

Now I breathe deep and and count up to ten

By the time I reach nine I'm OK again

    When we delay anger is lost,
    The poem tells that clearly,
    These four lines admonish
    To quit anger via calmness!
