Seoul Souls

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

My heart goes out to the people in Seoul
Gone before our eyes
The soul never dies
They will live on
In another place
No one is ever truly gone
There's no us and them
We are one race
When I die
Don't bring me back here reborn
Each day is spiritual warfare
I could shout this out loud
But nobody would care
Look after eachother
Please be careful and safe out there

Oh there it is! I was waiting for 24 hours and was going about my day in a sombre and agitated mood. The clips and reports where quite alarming. Your poem humanises this tragedy.

Yes these are very strange times, I haven't saw any videos of it because I just don't want to watch people struggling and dying.

I haven't seen actual footage while it happened and daresay don't have the stomach for it. But all the after clips when all the service and rescue personnel arrived. Not sure that many with footage are game enough to post the gruesomeness of it on social media either.

I get you, a lot of people are saying it reminds them of the Travis Scott Astroworld Festival where so many died, apparently more died then the media have said.

Give it no thought -This is simply a model of the greater tragedy inflicted upon some humans by others as a result of over population, greed and the resultant climate change -never mind war.. The fatalities in Korea , or a bridge in India are nothing…….

may they all rest in peace
          you've penned a poignant
          and tender read
I'm proud we have this on MPS
