Laccaria Amethystina

Neville

Laccaria Amethystina

my word, how she could simply drape, a single purple shawl, a shirt,

or even sheet, around those shoulders pale and fair

then make each look, so very Yves Saint Laurent, and all, without a care

'Darling' never worked, whereas 'Laccaria Amethystina' threw her into a frenzy.....

Ooooh Laccaria Amethystina -- take care if you meet her - she's an arson absorber but with a name like that how could she do anything but beautifully deceive - - love the way you play with her colourful nature...............x

        Brilliant!
how I envy your poetry's subtle touch, Hyung
        voicing everyday life's 'relationship ikiness'
        in three lines
while I can barely scratch surfaces
        after hundreds of poems..
thank you! for inspiring me, yet again
        ('amethyst deceiver'
        and the deception?
a scenic wordles promise, that love will continue to mushroom
and grow in each other's hearts,
        and for some, it will
so i guess not a false promise
        but for us
all that was left was the purple stain
        on that chest pocket
of once untainted shirt's and shawl's
no finger pointing or loud voices
        just that overindulgent assumption
        all is ok
        because smiles are on display
        only
        that purple poison, has set-in
        and all we can do
is ink it in poetry lines, release it
        to wash our hopes clean
        awaiting another chance
where lasting trees can be planted
        instead, in those
        delicate pulsing gardens
        where love dwells
and then our promises, can be rooted
        to much more resilient, serendipity's..)

Love the way you play around with words and images so subtle and yet so mystique!Your playful and arty ways do leave an impression of sorts 😊

Looks can be deceptive, as you so aptly put. And yet the element of danger or risk can be enticing. Beware the allure of the Laccaria Amethystina, for it/she cannot help what it is. A wonderfully sensual write my dear Neville!

I must confess, I do like the cut of your jib ma'am & truly ... Neville 🙂

A deceiver she is, pretty and lethal as she absorbs toxic arsenic from the soil. Perhaps a pot or plot without such to absorb shall make her edible self quite so the high maintenance beauty that she isl

Still, I do so love to forage, don't you CB 🙂

                    • arqios

That's well part of the appeal and the attraction, the danger and the thrill!
