The Skin That Your In

Carmen Barnett

Never look down

Or frown

In the skin

That your in

Because Your complexion

Is a reflection

Of God above

Some reject

Or inject

the skin

There in

I’m too fat, or I’m too thin

I’m brown, I’m black or white

So they get uptight

And put up a fight

Because of the skin their in

Be passionate

Not desperate

You should be proud and parade

Because your fearfully and wonderful made

Your not a blip

But God’s wonderful workmanship

Wherever you go

Let Your skin show

Smile and grin

And appreciate the skin that your in
