Apathy

GlassHeart

My eyes dry and irritated
I sank to the floor, defeated.
And it was in that moment, as the stars
froze my soul,
preserving it, scars
and all, to only continue their orbits
through a vacuum so infinite
without even a drop of heavenly pity
that I realised

What is human suffering to the divine?

Thanks a lot! I like to see poems as a window to the mind, so a lot of my poems are of a similar nature.
