Blue Butterfly

PoeticKwill

our senses stripped to lie bare
skin to skin, a whispered prayer
lithe spirits dance in the rain
commence the eclipsed hunger games

my savage love lingers deep
sweet wine a soul weeps
pliant to my direction
I’m given over to this perfection

I kneel before the altar persuaded
by her warmth I am inundated
consumed by her subtle form
and the coming rising storm

her river will never
turn to dust...

a kiss beckons day and night
the taste of which is pure delight
to hold her close is my desire
prowl the stars and ignite her fire

buried embers now ignite
as the Phoenix takes flight
swells overflow from the inferno
as the shivers deeply burrow

feel the tide of intensity swell
from the depths of the well
the clouds bleed, preordained
and burst with climactic rain

I wind my way at leisure
tread the path to the valley of treasure
to probe depth of the incline
drink from the cup of ecstasy's wine

Blue Butterfly wings dance
sweetly painted
in the rain of passion falling...
