Sunsets In The Winter

Christ

There are no bright sunsets

 in the winter.

There are only

your dark eyes mirroring mine.

There are bright pink sunrises that are of your pigmented cheeks,

The smiles you present, my canvas.

I don’t want to flick the

 tiny black wholes

to the museum of your art,

But maybe my biggest mistake can be the biggest accomplishment for you.

-hope for a love I’m only glad to feel
