Tune: Southwell
('Lord Jesus, think on me')
Psalm 93
***********
The Lord reigns, He is clothed
With majesty bestowed
He is clothed with strength, wherewith He
Has girded self, so be
The world also is set
Established, not moved yet
Your throne, Lord. is established too
From old, e'erlasting you
Th floods have raised their voice
Though we do here rejoice
That you the Lord are mightier
Than them, e'en though they stir
Your testimonies sure
Lord are, and evermore
Holiness does your house adorn
Evening, night, day, and morn

I love the song.
My entry this evening I wrote back in 1996 but I think your poem and my entry are sorta’ kinda related. See what you think????
Thanks JH. Yes, related in some way. I never wrote anything in 1996. Well, only very occasionally. The hymn came up in a mystery programme written by Roald Dahl, and an eccentric Vicar. A programme I try to forget. I can't stand Dahl - creepy.
All I have is from the 90’s I think I’ve lost my muse Some of your poems I would like to share with my dad if that is ok?
Thanks JH. Yes, you're welcome to share them, even sing them! I wish some folk would. One church turned me down. Boohoo! (lol). I did hear one of my hymn-poems sung once in church. The organist/choirmaster adapted it a bit. I hardly started poems in the 90's!
