I love u and u don’t know it

Right now u r with my best friend

And I’ll probably be the best man

At your wedding

I’m mending my heart

Try to find a piece of mind

But I’m thorn apart

And all of that is just life

I don’t want to forget you

But I also don’t want to love you

Cause I don’t want to be the dude

Who takes the sparkle of your couple

I’m always there for you

As you’re always there for me

But to tell you the truth

It hurts more then it comforts me

I’m sick of this shitty life

Always fell for wrong girls

Always choose the wrong roads

Always say the wrong words

I just want to love you

But he got to you first

And u deserve a love

Of someone u can trust

I trust u with my life

I know u would trust me with yours

But u are with him

And my heart is so sored

If u knew how my heart beats

Maybe things would be different

But for that, I would have to lose a friend

And I don’t want to deal with that end

U will never see this and im sorry

The truth is that I’m lonely

But I love you with all my heart

And you won’t know it cause I can’t talk

I love you.

Comment from author about the poem: This poem represents a dark part in my life, was written from the heart, because that's what I do when I am sad and I feel I got no one to trust. I wrote it in 2020, some time has passed and I always felt like this poem has some juice in it, so I decided to publish it, because someone might be in the same situation and now you know, that you are not alone.
