To Feel It All

E Naughton

To feel as though one did exist,

To feel the mist when moods in shift,

To feel the heat of summer sun,

Laughter loads the heart succumbs,

To feel that frost, when flowers die,

To feel the pain of life passed by,

To feel the joy of beautiful songs,

And broken hearts, our loved ones gone,

To feel alone in the dead of night,

To feel as though you lost your fight,

To feel as though you did exist,

To feel at all, is life's great gift.

This honestly brought tears to my eyes. Being alive is a gift, for so many of us (including myself) can not fight through the pain of it all. And seeing how others feel about it is heart warming. Great write!

Thank you so much, my heart bleeds for those who can\'t. Life is short, but the race is long! Some parts of the road darker than others, some brighter than we ever could have believed possible.

        This ones for you Arflory90

I was lucky to meet that,

        Which some never do.

        To meet that,

        Which many cannot meet.

        To wish it away,

To be those who never have,

Or even be those who cannot.

        To meet that, and rise,

As many who have, have not.

To gain more than you ever knew,

Before meeting that which you now know,

        Brings awakened life.

        Have you met pain?
