Judging a book by its cover when there is no book seems to be the norm now days. Glitz and gloss, are marketing tools to sell more books, films, news and even people who as slaves to what they value sell themselves through lies and false presentations to impress others. People are hollow with only a cover. This is full of deep meaning which I may have missed principle parts. To me it all falls back on a lack of integrity. Well expressed
The ephemeral nature of news with absolutely no perspective unless a considerable investment in effort and energy is employed pisses me off greatly.
Apart from that I'm mainly a happy chappie....
I used to be an avid follower of the news, as a younger fellow; even considered earning a journalism degree 📜 like my grandfather did. At 12 I even I even began investing in news magazines and yet all that came to naught. Those days are long dead and gone.

So true Soren. That integrity is the principal issue.
Good write CB.
The only empty book anyone needs is 'How to sing like Orchi - in 7,483 lessons' or summat like that number! lol.
Love that number!
It's tricky writing on unruled pages. So there not blank pages to start with - they have ruled lines on them! heehee.
Blank pages are quite daunting!
A sublime poems on books and news headlines. Written in a fab formatting and expressed swell. Kudos!
Plz also read and comment my newest poem too.
Thanks kindly.

(That's definitely a vote in favour, Rik.)

Unfortunately I'm addicted.....
it seems that books need pretty, and pleasing covers for a person to even consider reading them.
That is quite so!
