Us in the Universe

NikhilGaikwad

Two tiny dots, which roamed the space,
Collided at a moment , to fullfill the grace,

At this moment, time started,
Seconds, hours and days began to matter,

Gases filled the void, Debri, rocks and minerals began to subside,

Planets were born ,many together not one alone,
One of them was earth that we called our Own

Then , the atoms perfectly started to bind,
To form this beautiful thing we call life,

Life began to evolve,
For all creatures huge and small,

 Elephant got its tusks,
And peacock its feathers,
The lion, its beard and penguins were just weird

Amongst all, one rose in ranks,
Discovered fire, invented wheel and the bank,
Whatever glittered it wanted to keep,
One of the many feelings it had , this was named greed

 Empires rose and empires fell,
This thirst of greed  was never quenched,

Science made progress and telescopes were made,
Which saw all spectrums, violet indigo yellow and red

Einstien, Newton, Bohr,Raman took  spots as greatest of the time,
Curie reserved a space for herself up there, when she made radium shine,

Turing solving the enigma, made computer do wonders,
Pcs, laptops and one can see mobiles phones in hands of toddlers,

In this 13.8 billion year old book titled "the Universe,"
I believe theres a passage being written about us,
Times we cry , times we smile,
Times we empathize, and times we just couldnt decide,

Times we focus on things we shouldn't,
Times we are so close to giving up,
Times when we decide again to rise,
Times when like a diamond we shine

 It is all being recorded,
It is all being added.

No matter how short the passage is,
No matter how small the space is,
There would always be enough, to make  two dots of seperate passages meet,
Afterall
Two tiny dots, was all it took, to start the journey, wasn't it??
