If I had Elon Musk's debit card,
I'd buy a jet pack and soar
through the sky and clouds
to give money to the poor.
If I had Mr. Elon's resources,
I'd buy a whole lot of food.
I'd feel all the strays and homeless,
I'd love to do some good.
If I had Jeff Bezos's debit card,
I'd use the money to teach
the whole world to read and speak
And for the stars to reach.
If I had Mr. Jeff's resources
I'd help all children go to school.
I might even buy a giant ice cream sundae
That would be kinda cool!
If I had those plastic little cards,
This play will change the game.
We'll live in a happy world but only
Once I sign them in my name

If you could only stop feeling up all the strays and homeless, I think I could quite see your point of view...🙂
a fun read, thanks for sharing
(money doesn't necessarily yield charity
humility does!
the key is building yourself wings out of green cash
while keeping your toes, embedded in humanity's suffering earth
building
your own private james webb telescope
to glean, those broken hearts in the world
you walk past, everyday
that's the distance between wealth, power
and genuine charity...
at least to me)
that's that superpower, no one
makes mytholgical or comic, hero's out of
I feel like you are partly wrong with your comment. Simply because money is the root to all things now a days. You cant get anything unless it is based off of paper or metal. (meaning cash and coins) Knowing this, in order to feed the homeless and strays you need money in order to get those resources. However, I do agree with the fact that you stated humility does as well. because, you have to have the heart as well to do such a large task that can only save so many lives, until resources run out.
