Words Made From Poison

DestinysPerspectives

It is so easy to fall in line with someone else's words.
It is so easy to assume just because a crowd of people follow their words it must mean that person is a truth speaker.
It is so easy to read a book and assume that the point of view is the right one.
Until you start to really hear the words spoken or read the words written using common sense.
You start to stand up questioning every word but your efforts fall on deaf ears.
You are stoned by ugly words and gaslighted in even doubting this person’s true motives.
You realize you can't save them all but you can save yourself.
You are one less person poisoned by false words.
What happens in the dark will always come to light.

Nothing like being a disputatious contrarian as an antidote.
Enjoyed that short write of yours...

Awww thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it! I really loved your comment which was expressed with perfection. I will admit I had to think about what you meant for a moment lol.

Quick response - You certainly like to engage with respondents.

Definitely not a case of believing in what many others do, but a matter of the hard job of working out just who you can trust.
I repeat - that's hard, but the only way in the end.

Very wise words I completely agree with! For me it's learning to trust and listen to your gut.

        so true, thanks for sharing
although for me, it's less to do with having a capacity to hear
or see, beyond what others can
or just being in opposition to everyone
        for me
it's more rooted, in our choice
        to 'think' for ourselves
to not have our thought's be curated
        by popular opinion
        and thus, eventually
        we begin to decipher
that which resonates, as truth to us
freeing ourselves to trust in our innate perceptions
admitting, we'll get it wrong more times
than we get it right, and so
        questioning our choices and assumptions
as much we question, those of others
in this way, we path our way and journey life
        while acknowledging reality
while not being limited by it...
(but then, what do I know?)
        lol

I love your perspective on the matter! It is about independent thought that society sadly has yet to learn. I laugh when people say we have evolved when we are just like the tribes before us who fought over territory. Only the technology we use has evolved. But perhaps it's not meant to evolve beyond what it is because like you implied it's about our individual journey of truth.
