    Good write CB.
You sneaking off early, saying goodbye before the orchilenge 50 is up?! lol.
Well, I've not practised what I've preached - sometimes no poems written, then 1,2,3, whatever on other days.
When is the 50 up? Somewhere half-past Autumn, whenever that is?! lol.

    • arqios

Nope. Definitely not, there are several that have stacked up but only one post quota per 24 hours.

      • orchidee

One site got silly. It allowed more than one post per day. Some poets posted 10 or more. People did not have time to read them all.

        • arqios

It's called post flooding and many sites don't allow this. But yes, there are a few persons that see fit to 'jump the queue.'

          • orchidee

It's futile really, as poets won't be able to read them all, then they go into the depths of the 'archives' after 24 hours.

This poem evokes so poignantly the feeling of loss that accompanies the final goodbye. The second to last stanza describes this quite powerfully. Such a good write my friend!

                • arqios

Thanks Bella. This is where the film genre and poetry come together in amazing unison.
