A Pocket Full of Change

J.H.Byron-Nuel

  The knights armor golden gleaming

Soldiers marching ten by thousands.

Their doom is certain

But still they march onward following

The knight with golden gleaming armor.

  I am one of many;

What I wouldn’t do for a pocket full of change?

    Ahh, the money type of 'change'. I thought you meant the circumstances type of 'change'!

      I wrote that back in 1994. I’m not sure what I meant at the time. I think you could take it both ways. At the time I felt like a sell out because I was a contributing adult but I was wanting a change in my life. I’ve always been a bit of a spiritual type of guy. I think it is open to your own interpretation but I do see the money thing too.
