Teardrops

Roohi

Oh silly girl
Faking that smile staying strong
Want to scream through eyes
But holding on
99 Crumbled up lies; and one more
Bottled skies; strangling alone
Nightmare runs through mind
And a deadly soul
Behind those laughing lies, growing frown
How well I hide is suspicious; yet cold
God knows I tried for so long
Teardrops rolled down, knowing I was grown
I rushed down the crowded halls
Grasping for air while being drowned
They saw me trembling apart
But pretended they didn't know
I waved for the help
But they turned out to be shallow
Leaving me behind
Then I swear i didn't follow
Those mountains weighing down the shoulders
Manifested the growing pains and sorrows
That day those teardrops
Felt like piercing arrows.
