You almost captivated me
Slithered into my subconscience
As if you had the key
You almost entwined our souls together
Love pouring out, I’m petrified
So nearly forever
You almost destroyed me
Insidious manipulation, cutting, cruel calculation
Once blind but now I see

this is very powerful especially the ending. Beautiful writing!
Thank you for your kind words!
lol
indeed, beware those enamouring camouflages
we have to remember, for those with warped minds
all the tricks they need are now but a google search
at their fingertips...
so 'catching each other's eyes'
is now merely just a tool of their callous, trade
(wonderfully witty, a good read
thanks for sharing)
Thank you
