Dear Ex-Best Friend

Roohi

Hi there lonely friend
I see you trapped inside that cage again
Sculpted happiness and poisoned head
Buried inside fake faith
Laughing voices, stumbling on stones
Never knew, you would turn this cold
But Be cautious for the next time
Before you break a heart or commit worse crimes

You pulled the trigger
But now the blame is mine
You are burning in the toxic rain
But I know you will pretend that it's all fine
Take your aim again and look me in eye
I know i will walk through this
And I will survive
You've been nothing but a clone struggling to try
I've seen your worst colors creeping behind

When the betrayals will keep you awake at night
The darkness will feel heavy and upright
You will walk past me waiting for the approval
But my courage would not dare me to even smile

It's 2 in the morning and i am in my bed
Me questioning my sanity being wide awake
But now I have ran out of giving second chances
And you have ran out of time
Good-bye lonely friend
It's time to say good-bye

writing about it helps i think
manifesting those dark thoughts into black and white, inked reality
a semblance of rationality, in such a chaotic world..
    thanks for sharing
