Betrayal

Paul Wanjiku

A friend in need is a friend indeed, what of a friend indeed?

I called a friend only to discover you were after my title deed

Are you a friend indeed because you want to cut me bleed

Tell me really is a friend indeed truly a friend in need or is a friend in need a friend indeed?

I loved you as a friend, flesh of my flesh and blood of my own blood

The peace you gave me has turned into war, war made me sad

Glad I was of your presence only to discover you were after something, bad so bad

Tell me really is a friend indeed truly a friend in need or is a friend in need a friend indeed?

Some friends have no idea what friendship really is. True friendships take a long time to prove themselves, sad but that's life. Thought provoking write.
