Amber Alert

Amber 🚨 Alert

So hurt to know, that someone is hurting,

The constant news that we hear, it's much over disturbing,

So nerving, complex, a big wreck to the other,

Much further this includes, the father, and mother,

The size, type, or color, to make less tougher,

Locate locations, motivation, take sec to recover,

Helping one another, so mysteries uncover,

And the cause of that pain, has a reason to suffer,

We're in a system right now, where selfish habits are first,

Where we ignore the warnings, we'd rather convert,

I beg you change your concern, before matters are worse,

Please don't pass, or not listen to the..Amber Alert..

  • Comment from author about the poem: We live in the last days, where most think self is the only thing that matters. If that is the case why do we need doctors, nurses, police, firemen, etc. Just as children look up to those examples as role models, or super heroes, we must strive to be. These kidnapping we hear everyday, we shouldn't just ignore. They're true, serious, and in our phone for a reason. Even if you physically can't do anything, prayers are just as helpful, thanks for reading.

    wise words
'there is yet grace in our fallible humanity'
we need but do our part, to stem
    this societal moral demise..
    thanks for sharing, dear poet
