I Could

Maya Adams

Be Sad because I could

mad because i could

Happy because i could

Running, walking, jumping, skipping, flying, standing, sitting because I could

Numbed, angry, annoyed because I could

Up down because I could

Low, high, left, right,

above, low, north, west, east, south, because I could

Everything and yet nothing all empty but full

Die because I could

Live because I could

Sleep because I could

I could I could I could

We can

You can

I can

They can

He can

She can

But it’s all I could

Choosing because I could

Leaving or staying because I could

All this options that I could

But also do nothing about it because I could

End because I could

We are all free and have freewill to change at any time, love that feeling of almost frustration that we are free in your poem. I think a lot of us have felt like that. We are free but why are we not changing for the better. Is really good to feel about, thank you.
