I'm like you in more ways than one
like you in the fact that i am your child
like you in the fact that i have your mental illnesses
like you in the fact that i cant let the words out because i'm scared of what people will say
like you in the fact that i scream and scream but no one will listen
i'm like you but i don't want to be like you, no teen wants to be like their parents
whether they be drunks, drug addicts,narcissists, or just plain old people
i don't want to be like you but i am,that's why i resent everyone including my self
like you, i don't understand why i am the way i am
