Alibi

Roohi

How stupid I was to agree on this

Became your partner in crime, your only accomplice

It tears my heart down

Thinking of the fallen crown

The crown I wore so proudly

Of my innocence, of my childish grace

But look now I got my hands bloody

For you to open your arms and hold me

Thinking about WE, looking down upon Me

How could we be so torn and remained happy

You had your charm on

I had my guards down

Foolish me hoping that you will stick around

But when the walls collapsed

The oceans crashed

You ran away, while I drown

As I watched you from far away

I realized I was your temporary place

Just another convenience

You will search someone else to call your mine

Another addition to the list of your alibi
