I used to center
a galaxy of vast beauty
full of bright planets
Where the orbs traveled
with my every desire
move, and all was right
Gravity-- now gone
forgetting the push and pull
No fingers to tug
The sun, is not I
and planets no longer mine
taunting me, they go
I know to be true
Once a nova, now decayed
Alien, I stay

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is about losing control about the aspects of your life that lead into feeling not yourself. Remembering when these things used to come at an ease and now, they feel impossible to attain.
